Operating from the Mentone Girls' Grammar School indoor pool we are pleased to offer swimming classes for children aged between 18 months - 6 years of age.
The purpose of the preschool swimming program is to learn safety skills and other beginning aspects of learning how to swim including breath control, floating and kicking. Other safety skills like swimming to the wall will be taught. Preschool swimming will enhance early childhood development skills while promoting social interaction. There is no better age to teach positive learning attitudes than the preschool years. Preschool swimming classes create confident relaxed swimmers!
The Fishlings Swim School employs only Austswim qualified instructors and following the Austswim guidelines learning progression builds a strong swimming foundation.
